Norman's Cove - Long Cove Days

Each summer the town of Norman's Cove-Long Cove holds its annual Norman's Cove-Long Cove Days, also referred to as the Beach Festival. It begins on a friday with a parade and flotilla, and then continues into the night with a wiener roast for the children and then later there is a wonderful show of fireworks. The beer and liquor tent is open until late into the night with varioius entertainment on stage. On Saturday, there are many games for the kids and boat rides for the entire family. Food is available on the beach and many chose to spend their entire day there. Celebrations carry on into the night with a dance for the adults with live entertainment. On Sunday, there is an outdoor church service held on the beach that raps up the weekend.
