Report Cards:
Our second report card went out Friday, Feb. 3, 2012.
This report card contains final marks for first semester courses as well as marks in courses that will continue for the entire year.
Some courses may show no mark. These courses will be starting during the second half of the year.
It is important that all parents check these report cards. If your child is not meeting their full potential, it is important that we (parents, teachers and students) explore all options to help your child succeed. Please contact the your child’s teachers and/or Mr. Maloney or Mrs. Harnum to see what we need to do to get your child back on track.

ROV - Cold Plate Sale:
As you are probably aware, our school competes in Junior Scout and Senior Ranger ROV Robotics competitions each year. Regional competitions are held at the Marine Institute in St. John’s. The winners of the senior competition get to compete at the International level. This years International competition will be held in Orlando, Florida.
Our first task is to construct an ROV as well as tools to attach to the ROV and props needed to carry out our missions. Construction of these items required equipment and material which all cost money. We have been fortunate to get support from the school, the parent support group and from the Marine Institute’s partners, Exxon Mobile and the Government of NL, who support the competition. However, we will still need to do our own fundraising.
This past week we had a dance and we may have another later this spring. We are also planning on having a Cold Plate sale within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Exact details will follow.
Our ROV teams would like to thank all those who have supported us in the past and we thank you in advance for your future support.
